The results of the data below have been exported from Brick Set, a website dedicated to LEGO® sets and collections. The data was accessed from Brick Set Top Rated on 11/10/2024.
Using the data analysis methods outlined in my post below, I determined the top LEGO® sets from the 1980s based on data pulled from Brickset. There were many sets within this decade, but the results focus on those with a ranking greater than 0 and the highest rating for each year. Please note that some years were skipped due to inconsistencies in the data, resulting in a ranking of 0 for those years and sets. I hope you enjoy.

These sets are a fascinating piece of LEGO® history, and I wasn't even born yet in that decade. Although some sets are simple in design, it's incredible to see what LEGO® came up with at the time.
Stay tuned for my next post on the Top LEGO® Sets of the 90s, from the Brickset Data I exported!
Has anyone ever heard of these sets? And if you have, did you have any of them? Please let me know in the comments.
